Translating Vision into Institutional Decision-Making
He Puna Taimoana formed part of the broader regeneration of New Brighton, Christchurch following the 2011 earthquakes. Advancing the project required more than a compelling vision. It required a feasibility submission capable of meeting Christchurch City Council's standards for evidence, governance, and public-sector decision-making.
Working alongside design management and a multidisciplinary consultant team, we brought together market analysis, architectural input, governance pathways, delivery considerations, and implementation risks into a single strategic submission. The work translated complex technical information into a cohesive, decision-ready document that aligned with Council's review framework.
The resulting feasibility study helped position the project for advancement through Council's institutional review process while providing leadership with a clear strategic foundation for moving the project forward.
